It is intentionally asymmetrical. I liked it. (No one commented on it, though. Gotta get over my need for compliments. I can't take a compliment anyway.)
I also decided that I didn't like my handbag options so I started this on Thursday night.
It is a charcoal grey cotton acrylic blend. My favorite yarn. It is wider than I wanted so I don't know how I messed that up but... The pattern I was looking at had a shell design for the fold over part but I wanted something more fun so I did this loopy fringe thing. It held a lot of stuff, nothing ever fell out, and it was very easy to hold with the wrist strap. The buttons were from my mom's old collection and the loopy fringe fit over them perfectly and kept everything nice and snug. Very easy.
